Ordering bespoke pieces
When commissioning a unique timber art piece or functional furniture from Houseofcarvings.org, please note that each item is meticulously crafted to your specific requirements. We pride ourselves on the bespoke nature of our work, which means every piece is a one-of-a-kind creation. Due to the custom nature of our products, all orders for bespoke pieces are subject to a detailed consultation and agreement on design specifications before commencement of work.
Payment terms
To initiate the creation of your custom piece, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total agreed price is required upfront. This deposit secures your commission and allows us to procure necessary materials and begin the intricate carving process. The remaining balance will be due and must be settled in full prior to the delivery or collection of your finished artwork. Please understand that due to the custom nature of our work, this deposit is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your order after the work has commenced.
Delivery and dispute resolution
We take utmost care in packaging and preparing your bespoke piece for delivery or pickup. We ensure all pieces will arrive undamaged. In the rare event that a piece arrives damaged during transit, please notify us immediately upon receipt. We promise to either refund the full purchase price or replace the damaged piece, at our discretion, to ensure your complete satisfaction. Your confidence in our craftsmanship and service is paramount to us.
